I design and create characters, even though they don’t have a clear purpose - and that’s fine.

I work with illustration, sculpture, ceramics, and 3D printing, creating objects that look a bit like toys but aren’t really meant for children, and a bit like art, but without unnecessary drama. If it needs a definition - these are collectible items for people who like characters with personality, presence, and questionable internal logic.

The works start from a simple idea, sometimes even a silly one, and end as a physical object that’s gone through far too many stages for something that’s supposed to “just stand on a shelf.”

Some things are made in small series; others exist only once. Most are hand-painted, because someone has to take responsibility for the color choices.

This site is a collection of characters, objects, and creatures that didn’t ask to be created—but were created anyway.
